'Pixel meets Paint' - Sound of Fruit is an ongoing collaboration between myself and the Fine Artist Julian Woodcock. It is:
Live paint application combined with live video manipulation combined with live sound manipulation. Here is a 3 minute edit of our first live performance for 70 or 80 people at the first Freefall Lounge which took place over about an hour and kept the audience entranced for all that time.

Following on from 'Pixel meets Paint' The Sound of Fruit are now exploring Julian's dream recordings, written-up over a 365 consecutive day period last year and this.
 
He has chosen the dream coinciding with each full moon, 13 over this coming year 2008, and is creating a painting for each dream in the location in which that dream 'took place'.
I am recording stop-go video animations of each 'performance', stills and the audio sound of brush on plywood via contact microphones with the intention of creating an audio/visual/paint installation sometime next year in a yet to be decided location.
