                            VDMX Tutorials

                            Live video loop capture

Using VDMX, a Wii remote, a camcorder and Bluetooth I have perfected a technique for capturing live video loops  and triggering them remotely from the laptop during a show.

This series of video tutorials on the left should be fairly self explanatory for VDMX users. If you would like to know more, get in touch.

                            Wii and VDMX basics

I have had a couple of requests about the basics of using a Wiimote with VDMX and if and how to connect a Sensor Bar, so I've put together a couple of tutorials as .pdf files to get people started at their own pace.
                            Here is part 1:

                            Moon Particles for VDMX

Here is my very first Quartz Composer (QC) patch for use in VDMX from way back in 2009 available for download - just drop it into the VDMX Media Bin as a clip; I have tried it in VDMX5 and it works well.
Although basic it provides a surprising number of variants but you will need to play around with the settings to get anything interesting.
I have re-posted this due to some interest from Vimeo users about QC.
I made this entirely from tutorials available on the wub.
