                            workshops

The DIY Tour 2009 not only saw an increased lineup of bands, workshops and venues but also from the vj perspective everything was bigger and better as well. We had three vjs on the Tour itself, four at the final venue, Derby Assembly Rooms, more visual workshops with more bands and some great clips and stills produced.
Facilities for the gigs improved immeasurably with not only three vjs at each gig sharing live camera, stills recording and integrating all this with workshop clips and layouts but also jamming as required and of course playing with the new V8 mixer...

We also had a high quality back projection set-up onto my new 3.2 x 2.1mt screen which looked the business.

Here's a video montage showing some aspects of the Tour from a VJs perspective.
Credit to the other two VJs, Chris and Trip, who kept making the magic happen.
